Princes, 8, was a student at Asafo Ahmadia Basic School in Kumasi. According to her mother, Princess assured her that morning that she would come first in class after coming in second the previous term.
The students were ready to begin their end-of-term examinations, and the little girl was overjoyed at the prospect of being the first to emerge. Her mother stated that that afternoon, she heard that a vehicle had killed someone and decided to investigate, only to discover it was her princess.
According to one of the teachers who spoke with the mediamen, Princess was affectionately known as Assistant Headmistress at the school due to her fondness for everyone.
According to the teacher, the road connects the Asafo Labour roundabout to Ahinsan in Kumasi. After the road was completed, there were no pedestrian delineations and no speed rumps, despite the road’s several turns.
They urged authorities to assist in the construction of speed bumps and road demarcations to avert such occurrences. Again, homeowners begged on vehicles to use caution when navigating such winding roadways.
