Hajia Bintu has issued a statement regarding a song written by renowned Ghanaian artist Shatta Wale that featured her name.
Bintu revealed on The Delay Show that she had no previous awareness of the song and that Shatta Wale did not notify her before using her name in his verses.
The famous socialite, known for her curvaceous figure, stated that she had encountered Shatta Wale a few times but that they were not close pals.
“Shatta Wale didn’t tell me before using my name to compose a song. I have met Shatta Wale before, but he wasn’t my friend,” she said.
Bintu also denied having a personal connection with Shatta Wale, claiming that the allegations were untrue.
She insisted that she had no personal connection with the artist and that they were simply friends.
Shatta Wale’s single “Hajia Bintu,” which includes the influencer’s name multiple times in the verses, garnered immense fame in Ghana and beyond.
The infectious rhythm and rap words of Shatta Wale made the song a fan favorite, with many admirers producing dance moves influenced by the song.
