When the taxi driver who was arrested for admitting that he was a serial murderer appeared in court today, he made a shocking disclosure.
The taxi driver, who is identified as Felix, revealed that he once killed and buried a pregnant woman for former Ashaiman Member of Parliament, Alfred Agbesi, in order to secure his election success.
The accused made or published a statement on the “Maakye show on Onua Television station sometime in September 2021 to the effect that he buried alive a pregnant woman at Ashaiman, according to the facts presented to the court by Chief Inspector Bampoe.
When the police got this information, he claims, they started an inquiry into the case, which led to the accused’s arrest.
He further added that during the investigations, it was revealed that on September 2, 2021, the accused indicated in answer to a query from the presenter of the Onua TV morning show “Maakye” with Captain Smart, that he had previously killed numerous people.
The accused “also stated that he buried a pregnant woman alive at Ashiaman as a sacrifice for Alfred Agbesi [the former MP for Ashiaman],” according to the Prosecutor.
On Monday, September 13, the accused, Felix Ansah, was arraigned before Her Honour Rosemond Baah Torsu in the Circuit Court.
He has filed a not guilty plea to the allegation of publishing false news in contravention of section 208(1) of the Criminal Offences Act, 1960 Act 29.
He was detained in police custody and told to appear in court on September 16 to have his bail request reviewed.
Moreover, the police have yet to expand their investigation to locate the alleged buried person and other people mentioned by the accused.
