Have you ever heard of pregnancy cravings? They are when a pregnant woman wants to eat something specific, and they just can’t resist it. Well, one pregnant woman in Ghana had some very strange cravings.
She said that every night when she went to bed, she craved soup. Not just any soup, but a specific soup that she had to prepare herself. So, in the middle of the night, she would get up and warm up the soup she made the night before.
Now, here’s where things get weird. Instead of just eating the soup, she would wait for it to burn and scorch before she would lick the “Kanso” of it. What is Kanso, you ask? It’s the burnt part of the soup that sticks to the pot.
Yes, you read that right. She would wait for the soup to burn and then lick the burnt part off the pot. That’s definitely not something you hear every day!
