A Nigerian woman has resorted to social media to explain how her mother responded when she took a photo with Mammy Water, a mermaid statue.
took the snapshot in an art gallery in Ibadan, Oyo State.
Uche, as she is known, had shared a photo of herself with a mermaid on WhatsApp, and her mother, like every pious Nigerian mother who finds significance into such things, swiftly reacted.
She uploaded a screenshot of a message from her mother ordering her to get out of there right away.
