Christian Atsu Twasam was born on On January 10th, 1992. He is a Ghanaian professional footballer who now represents Al-Raed in the Saudi Professional League and the Ghana national team.
Since his debut in 2012, he has earned over 30 caps as a full international.
Atsu has played in two Africa Cup of Nations competitions and the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
He was named Player of the Tournament and Goal of the Tournament at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations, where he also helped the team finish second.
Atsu is a fervent Christian who uses social media to distribute Bible scriptures. He is married to Marie-Claire Rupio, a German woman.
Atsu is frank about his eternal love for his gorgeous wife Marie-Claire Rupio after nine years of marriage.
The couple met while he was playing for FC Porto in Portugal, and they married in 2012.
They have three half-caste children: two attractive boys and a lovely daughter.

Since 2019, Atsu hasn’t played for the Black Stars. The forward has scored nine goals in 65 appearances for Ghana.
The former Chelsea star just joined Al Raed in Saudi Arabia after leaving Newcastle United in the English Premier League.
