Frank is a Canadian businessman married to a Ghanaian woman who lives in Canada with their children. Due to the nature of his business, he frequently travels to Canada and back to Ghana. On Saturday, July 23, 2022, he returned to Ghana with his wife and two children to spend some vacation time while also attending to his business. He had a previous girlfriend, but they were no longer together.
Sephina Diamond is the name of his ex-girlfriend. She has her own apartment in Adenta. Sephina learned that her ex-boyfriend was in town and made a phone call to him. She persuaded Frank to meet her somewhere during their interactions. He didn’t want to respond to her because he felt they were no more, besides he was married with kids.
According to Kofi, Frank’s brother, Frank decided to go out with his wife and two children on Sunday morning, but on the way back, he told his wife to stay at home with the children while he went to see a friend and would return in a short time. Frank’s wife called his husband’s phone several hours later, but it was switched off. So she told Kofi, and the two of them decided to file a complaint at the Mile 7 Police Station. They were given a note instructing them to go to any FM station and make an announcement.
They went to Asempa, a popular FM station in Accra, to make an announcement. Later that evening, the Mile 7 Police Department summoned Frank’s brother and other family members to the station to pick up their brother. They did not meet their brother in the station after arriving, and the police could not tell them what was going on.
Later, the police informed them that they had their brother’s cell phone with them and demanded that the family accompany them to a crime scene to identify a body if it was their brother.
On Tuesday morning, the Mile 7 Police received a call that a body had been discovered in a pool of blood near a bush along the Mile 7 road. They rushed to the scene and decided to contact Frank’s family before picking up his body.
In the news, Kofi stated that his brother was stabbed several times on various parts of his body and died as a result. As he spoke, he mentioned that Sephina Diamond had been arrested in connection with this. As a result, according to him, he did not know the lady, even though his brother once mentioned her, saying that they were no longer together, but the lady has been insisting on a reunion. She is in the custody of the Police to help in investigation.
The body of Frank has been picked to the 37 Military Hospital for autorpsy and pending for investigation.
