On May 17, 2022, it was announced on social media that famed Kumawood actor Osei Tutu had died.
Following his death, his mother and brother came forward to claim that the actor was k!lled by some of his colleagues in the profession because they supposedly envied him.
While these allegations elicited a variety of opinions online, the late actor’s family decided on June 2, 2022, as the day for his one-week observance ritual.
Many Kumawood actors came to his one-week observer rituals to offer their solidarity due to his efforts as an actor and presenter before his death.
Popular industry figures such as Ras Nene, also known as Akabenezer, Ama Tundra, Shiifo, Longface, Sumsum Ahuof3, Komfo Koleege, and many more attended the event to express their love.
