Black Stars player Christian Atsu Twasam was well-known for playing in a few European leagues. He was an outstanding winger with unmatched speed.
In the earthquake that hit Turkey on February 6th, Atsu went missing. He was at his Hatayspor apartment when the building fell, burying him beneath the debris.
Despite prayers and good intentions, he wasn’t located after just two weeks of being lost.
Atsu was discovered on February 18th, 2023, as his agency announced to the public.
Marie Claire Rupio was the wife of Christian Atsu. Three boys—all three of the couple’s offspring—were born.
Two of them are even playing in an academy and are between the ages of 6 and 8. Godwin is the second child while Joshua is the oldest son.
