See Old Photos Of Ghanaian boxer working as a laborer before turning a professional boxer after traveling abroad
This is the remarkable tale of Jackson Freezy Macbones, a former Ghanaian menial laborer who rose through the ranks to become a professional boxer.
Freezy Macbones, born Seth Gyimah, fled Ghana for the United Kingdom in search of brighter pastures.
He said that while he was in Ghana, he lived in terrible poverty, fighting every day to make ends meet. He was doing “kponkpon” to make ends meet. Kponkpon is a menial labor done by unskilled workers for a daily pay.
Freezy Macbones captioned his flashback photo: Life is so funny I still remember when I came to London for the first time .. I was stranded, couldn’t speak good English. A whole lot happened and I ended up sleeping outside. Now am on live
Freezy Mabiones, who reached the pinnacle of his boxing career, claimed it could only be God since he never imagined he could make it a few years ago when he was living in a dark room and had to carry concrete at a building site before he could eat.
His flashback photo exposes the shady narrative of his meteoric climb and the deplorable position in which he once found himself.
The 31-year-old, who prefers to go by his ring name Freezy MacBones, is about to become pro after a successful amateur career.
