The event occurred yesterday inside the Media General grounds in Accra, generating considerable alarm among personnel and civilians in the region.

Thankfully, firefighters from the Headquarters Substation arrived quickly and contained the fire, preventing it from spreading to nearby buildings.

Although parts of the reception area were destroyed by fire, the main studio area and backstage were saved.
