On Wednesday, Accra experienced heavy rains that caused flooding in several parts of the city. Areas like Kaneshie First Light, Ofankor Barrier, Taifa Junction, and Madina Market were affected by the floods.
The rains started in the morning and continued throughout the day, causing traffic to slow down and making it difficult for commuters to get around.

Commuters on the Accra-Winneba Road were forced to use only one side of the double-lane road.
