Gari and beans, sometimes known as “gob3,” is a famous Ghanaian dish. It is one of the cheapest yet most satisfying foods in the country, and you may eat to your heart’s content for only 3cedis. So, for someone like Wendy Shay, we don’t expect her to be eating such meals out in the open. But, well, I suppose we all have our downfalls!
This delicacy is thought to be for low-income individuals who cannot afford more expensive or “high”-class cuisines.
Wendy Shay’s video makes one wonder if she is actually broke or if she is just attempting to sell her new song.
