We are glad to offer some images from Sir John’s funeral, which will take place in his hometown of Sakora Wonoo.
Before his funeral, the late former Chief Executive Officer of the Forestry Commission, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie aka Sir John, had his hometown draped in red and black.
After contracting Covid-19, the NPP guru died on July 1, 2020, at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.
Sir John will not be buried on Saturday since he is an Adventist; as a result, the funeral ceremonies began on Wednesday, June 3, 2021, and will last until Friday, June 5, 2021.
