Secondary school teacher caught and arrested for camping 17-year-old student in a hotel
A secondary school teacher in Kenya has been arrested for allegedly sleeping in a hotel with his 17-year-old student, who is also his girlfriend.
Nathan Kosgei, the teacher, was arrested following a raid at a hotel where he was staying with his 17-year-old student.
After seeing the student in one of the lodging rooms, members of the public alerted Transmara East Chief, Richard Bett.
“I was informed by curious members of the public after the student was seen with the teacher at a lodging house.”
Police forced their way into the room and arrested the pair, who were then taken to the Transmara hospital for medical evaluation.” Bett stated.
He also stated that the minor and the teacher are being held at Emurua Dikirr Police Station after being taken to the hospital for medical evaluation.
