Sarkodie is Ungrateful; Claims Radio Stations did not play his songs when he was upcoming (video)
During an interview with DJ Semtex on HipHop Raised M, Ghanaian rapper and CEO of Sarkcess Music Micheal Owusu Addo, well known in the entertainment world as Sarkodie, revealed that radio stations in Ghana never helped him much.
According to the musician, social media allowed him to break into the Ghanaian market because many radio stations in the country refused to play his songs.
The musician, who was on the show to discuss his new album ‘No Pressure,’ revealed that he got his break through social media because it was difficult for radio stations to accept and play his songs because they were judged “not commercial.”
