D-Black, the CEO of Black Avenue Muzik, recently spoke about his friendship with the famous rapper, Sarkodie, in an interview with Monique Law on the ‘Enjoyment Drive’ show.
D-Black revealed that he has known Sarkodie for a long time, even before he became a global star. He said that they met when he released his first album and Sarkodie released his a year before.
They used to live close to each other, and D-Black even lived on the same street where Edem and Kwaw Kese recorded their music.
Some artists have claimed that Sarkodie does not respond to their texts or messages, but D-Black clarified that Sarkodie has always been cool with him and has always come through for him. They have collaborated on four songs together, and Sarkodie has even done verses for D-Black’s artists and producers.
D-Black considers his friendship with Sarkodie to be the coolest. He said that anytime Sarkodie needs him, he is there, and anytime he needs Sarkodie, he is there. Their enduring bond is a testament to their mutual respect and admiration for each other.
