Saint Obi, Nollywood Veteran, Passes Away at 57

Many people on social media were shocked to hear about the passing of Saint Obi, a veteran actor in Nollywood.

Saint Obi reportedly passed away after a long illness. He died on Sunday, May 6, at the home of one of his siblings.

Saint Obi was born on November 16, 1965, and made significant contributions to the Nigerian film industry. He became famous in 1996 and played memorable characters in hit movies such as Candle Light, Sakobi, Executive Crime, and Last Party. He was considered one of Nollywood’s finest actors.

In 2001, Saint Obi produced his first movie called Take Me to Maama. He not only produced the movie but also played the character Jerry.

The Actors Guild of Nigeria has not received full information from the family, so they have not made a statement yet.
