Sad video of Kumawood actors and actresses Crying at the funeral of their colleague Osei Tutu surfaces online (watch)
The mood during the funeral of the late Kumawood actor Osei Tutu, who passed away recently, was one of melancholy and grief.
On Thursday, July 8, the last of Tutu’s burial ceremonies were observed in Kumasi, his hometown. He was born and raised there.
Zionfelix, a celebrity and lifestyle blogger, recently released a video on his channel in which several notable people, including Big Akwes, Nana Yeboah, Shifo, Louisa Adinkra, Michael Afrane, Kyekyeku, Oteele, Oboy Sika, and Matilda Asare, can be seen.
After a brief battle with illness, the late actor passed away some time in May of 2022. Before a recent update emerged that linked his death to a woman he had scammed, his mother had reason to believe that her son had been the victim of foul play and had blamed a member of the profession for orchestrating his passing.
Up until the time of his passing, the actor was well-known throughout the country for advertising money doubling and lotto activities on a number of television stations centered in Kumasi.
Even not long after his passing, a significant number of Ghanaians verified that he had been assisting those scam artists who were posing as the aforementioned ‘professionals’ in order to defraud viewers of the television show who were not paying attention.
This has been verified by a man who stated that a woman from Ada who went to a native doctor in order to seek revenge on the actor for cheating her out of her hard earned money did in fact kill him. She did this in order to get her money back from the actor.
According to him,
“Tutu and his people on live TV promised to double the money on behalf of a woman from Ada to make it ₵400 but he never fulfilled his promise.
The woman tried everything she could to get the money but he ignored her.”
Meanwhile, his mother previously said in an interview she suspected someone in the industry killed her son spiritually.
“My son told me that someone in the Kumawood movie industry has taken him to a spiritualist to end his life. In the process, my son vomited 9 needles and blood. That happened before his death. Anytime he coughed, blood followed”, the mom had revealed shortly after his death.
During this time, his mother had earlier stated in an interview that she had the suspicion that someone working in the sector had spiritually killed her son.
