Sad: School Bus Carrying Over 50 Students Involved In A Horrific Accident
According to reports, a horrific accident involving a school bus that was transporting roughly 50 kids took place in the Tano North Municipality of the Ahafo Region, and at least six of the pupils on board were killed as a result of the incident.
A Facebook user named Andy Frimpong Manso wrote on the platform that the fatal accident happened on the Terchire-Adrobaa Road.
In the post that was shared on Friday, November 11, 2022, he stated in a caption that accompanied a video that numerous other people had been gravely injured.
“A fatal accident happened on the Terchire-Adrobaa Road in the Tano North Municipality of the Ahafo Region, where about 50 students were on a school bus.
“6 children are known to be dead, several others are in very bad shape, and a few are still missing,” he wrote.
The Facebook user also stated that the accident was caused by the bus driver traveling too fast on a road that was still being constructed. “I’ve heard that the driver was going too fast, even though the road was under construction and the first layer of surface dressing (Prima seal) was being put down,”
“In these kinds of places, drivers are told to be careful because of the chippings and how slippery they could be.” “Sources say he didn’t listen to any warnings, even from school kids who told him to slow down,” he said.
However, the police have yet to comment on the matter.
