Constable Philip Tuoyin, a police officer stationed at the Nadowli Police Station, has been reported dead after being engaged in a horrific accident.
According to sources, he died in a car accident on the route between Lawra and Babile.
He was brought to Lawra Government Hospital, where he was undergoing treatment, but he died.
Many people were taken aback by his passing.
The Ghana Police Service has recently recorded several deaths caused by road accidents across the country.
The concerning trend is having a negative impact on policing in general, as the ratio of security personnel to civilians continues to dwindle.
