Akingbemisola Dorcas Anjola, a Nollywood actress, has died after a protracted battle with ovarian cancer.
The 33-year-old actress was diagnosed with cancer in 2021 and had to endure months of chemotherapy in Dubai.
After being confirmed cancer-free, she returned to Nigeria and resumed her acting career.
However, in recent months, she started complaining of feeling poorly and was sent to a hospital, where her condition worsened.
Her colleague, filmmaker and producer Kayode Peters, reported her death on social media.
He hailed the late actress as a diligent and brilliant woman who gave pleasure to everyone she met.
Her colleagues, including Odunlade Adekola, came to numerous venues today to announce her death.
