On Monday night, two ladies were discovered slain in Arsikere taluk’s Rangapura. Manjula, 30, and her mother, Bharathi, 55, have been recognized. Sridhar, Manjula’s husband, is accused of murdering both of them during a violent dispute.
Sridhar and Manjula were married a few years ago. They have two children together. The couple recently had disagreements and fought several times.
When Manjula raced to defend her daughter, Sridhar reportedly struck her with a wooden rod and turned to his mother-in-law.
A case has been filed by the Gandasi Police Department. Sridhar has been apprehended by the police.
