A guy in his 30s, believed to be from Sunyani-Newtown, has reportedly been murdered by individuals who appear to be commercial sex workers, according to police.
After allegedly refusing to pay for the bedroom service that was provided to him, the guy, who has not been identified, is said to have engaged in a physical altercation with one of the night workers.
According to reports, the sex worker sought the assistance of others of her coworkers, who assisted her in assaulting the man, ultimately resulting in his death.
The sex workers are claimed to have fled the area after realizing the seriousness of their actions. The incident was reported to the authorities.
The house where the incident occurred has subsequently been locked up after police officers arrived and apprehended many individuals.
One of the workers, who is thought to be the primary suspect, as well as her physically challenged landlord, has been taken into custody and is being held at the Sunyani District Police station.
Meanwhile, the deceased’s body has been transported to the Sunyani Regional Hospital morgue pending the outcome of the investigation.
