Ghana now seems to have adopted impunity as the norm.
Surprisingly, this no longer only affects the political class.
Now that they have the financial means, regular Ghanaians have increased the level of impunity.
One would have expected police escorts would be distributed wisely and not sold to the highest bidder for a country like Ghana with such inadequate road infrastructure where even ambulances struggle to get access during crises.
One rich boy’s extravagant way of life has now incited resentment on social media.
He had a police escort just to go and buy a burger.
