Rev. Josh Laryea never raped Mzbel, we planned to lie on him – Afia Schwarzenegger ‘confesses’ in new video

An accusation of sexual assault by Rev. Josh Laryea, a gospel preacher and former pastor at the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC), against Mzbel has been refuted by Afia Schwarzenegger.

In 2017, Afia Schwarzenegger and her then-best friend Mzbel went viral for posting about how happy they were that Rev. Josh Laryea had been suspended due to allegations of immorality.

This came after claims surfaced that the well-known gospel singer had raped Mzbel, a congregant at the same church.

After the rape allegations against Pastor Josh Laryea became public, he was permanently banished from the church.

Afia Schwarzenegger, who was pictured beaming after the remark went viral, quickly responded on social media.

“Finally, your glass is overflowing…You abused a woman I know, and as a result, she no longer believes in God…There is no doubt that God responds…you see your life?

A distraught Josh Laryea remarked at the time in a Starfm interview, “I could have gone mad, I might have been dead…

Surprisingly, Afia Schwarzenegger, who is now engaged in a spat with Mzbel, claimed she felt bad about taking part in the scheme.

Mzbel drove me astray! I asked God to forgive Josh Laryea because he never raped her. When he brings it up again, I will defend him. When Mzbel first showed up, nobody at the ICGC was happy to see her. Due of her isolation from the males in her life, Mzbel found solace in religion.

Following her acceptance into the ICGC, Josh Laryea was named her godfather. She initially accused him of rape a year later. I know this is the day of atonement the man has been hoping for. She announced the name clearing is happening now in a live Tik Tok show.
