Many people were perplexed when Regina Daniels, then 19, decided to marry Nigerian businessman Ned Nwoko, who was nearly 60 at the time.
Many thought and hoped that after several years of dating her young sweetheart, Somadina Adinma, the two would end up in a happy marriage.
Regina Daniels, on the other hand, had a different plan. She desired an established man who could attend to her needs and ensure her well-being.
That is probably why Regina Daniels decided to end her relationship with Somadina Adinma when the opportunity to marry Ned Nwoko presented itself.
Regina Daniels has revealed and explained why she chose to marry a wealthy old man in a new social media update.
Aside from the fact that a young man has new blood and may be more energetic, Regina Daniels was looking for someone with deep pockets and who would show his love for her in ways other than words.
Any man who confesses his love to her without having anything to show for it, she says, will be shown the door… Somadina was most likely shown the exit when Ned Nwoko walked in.
“When you confess your feelings for me with nothing to offer, abeg getat” – That was Regina Daniels’s explanation for her decision to marry Ned Nwoko after all.
She desired more than words, and a young man like Somadina was not in a position to provide them. He couldn’t compete with Ned Nwowko’s financial clout for her love.
Regina Daniels already has two sons from her marriage to Ned Nwoko, but she is unconcerned about the man’s penchant for young women. So far, she is well cared for.
