Popular NDC Journalist Salifu Maase, widely known as Mugabe Maase is on the nerves of the NPP leader and Incumbent president Nana Addo as he has launched another attack on him over the death of the late JJ Rawlings.
According to Mugabe, Nana Addo should be blamed for the sudden death of the longest-serving President of the state — He alleged that Rawlings died because the President denied him the chance to be flown outside the country for proper medical care.
The staunch NDC supporter, who was speaking in a political discussion on the Accra based radio station Power FM, boldly said the late ex-military officer had made an initial request to be flown abroad when his condition became worse but Akufo-Addo turned down his request.
He went ahead to say that The Korle bu teaching hospital, where Rawlings died, was not the ideal hospital for such a prestigious man who was once an army commander and that he should have been admitted at the 37 Military Hospital. With this, he also said they denied the movement of JJ to the 37.
Mugabe Maase finally pointed out that the president, after what he did, is still pretending as if he is pained about Rawlings’ death.
