It appears that the nature of Ghanaians is that you are remembered well when you die, and the adage of the elders tells us that “good people don’t live long.”

The late Professor John Evans Fiifi Atta Mills was known as the “Father of All” and was well-known throughout the world for his calm demeanor.

Prof Mills was a humble and simple man who didn’t have time to witch-hunt even though he had the authority to do so.

As the announcement was made, the entire country was in uproar. Nonetheless, allowing a young girl to sit in his presidential chair demonstrated that he was a father to all.

Prof Mills, our humble president, is still a peaceful man we can remember and learn from. May Prof. Mills’ soul rest in peace.
