Prophet Kofi Oduro blasts Daughters of Glorious Jesus for saying it’s not a sin to listen to secular songs (Video)
Prophet Kofi Oduro, an outspoken pastor from Ghana, has attacked the famed gospel music group Daughters of Glorious Jesus by claiming that despite being Christians, the group enjoys certain secular music.
Daughters of Glorious Jesus stated on UTV that they appreciate Kojo Antwi’s music and clarified that it is not improper for a married Christian to listen to live music with their spouse.
On the same program, Pastor Abraham Lamptey said he likes some of Samini’s songs.
Prophet Kofi Oduro responded by saying that this sort of Christianity sets a poor example for Christians and will soon result in the gospel’s collapse.
In a sermon, the founder of Alabaster International Ministry stated that, as a sincere Christian, “you have no business listening to secular music, irrespective of the content.”
“The other night, when I was watching TV, I started to feel depressed. Gospel pastors might be heard discussing how they enjoy a wide variety of secular music. I shouted when I saw that. These individuals set a poor example for Christians”.
“In the next ten years, this form of Christianity will result in the gospel becoming extinct. There won’t be any gospel in ten years. How would you react if I approached you while you were urinating on my pulpit? Although the Bible grants us free choice, not everything is appropriate for humans”.
He claims that such actions are condemned by the Bible, which is the norm for all Christians.
