Popular Ghanaian Lẽsbian, Ama Governor Misses Call to Ghana Bar Once Again
Ama Governor, a popular Ghanaian YouTuber and law student, has once again missed the call to the Ghana Bar. On May 5th, 2023, the General Legal Council called 196 students to the Bar in a mini-call event.
This event allows students who were previously unable to be called for various reasons to finally be called to the Bar with their peers.
Unfortunately, Ama Governor’s name was not included in the list of students called to the Bar. This suggests that her case is still pending at the General Legal Council, which has sparked outrage on social media and other news platforms.
Meanwhile, the name of impeached former Ghana School of Law SRC President, Mr. Victor Wonder Kutor, was included in the list.
In November 2022, Ama Governor passed her bar exam and was expected to be called to the Bar on November 11th, 2022.
However, days before the event, she received a letter from the General Legal Council stating that a concerned citizen had petitioned the council, alleging that she lacked good character befitting someone who aspires to be a lawyer.
The concerned citizen raised an issue with one of Ama Governor’s YouTube videos, describing it as “conduct unbecoming of an application to be called to the Bar.” This led to Ama Governor failing the moral test set by the General Legal Council.
In a recent YouTube episode, Ama broke her silence on the brouhaha.
