“Politics is for serious people not comedians”- Ola Micheal tells Lilwin

After Lilwin announced his intention to run for office, renowned actor Kwadwo Nkansah, aka Lilwin, received harsh criticism from acclaimed filmmaker Ola Michael.

Remember that we broke the story last week about the actor running as an independent candidate for a member of parliament in his district?

Ola Michael’s comments suggest that this news didn’t go over well with many people. Politics is “not a joke thing nor some sort of concert,” Ola declared emphatically on a recent episode of United Showbiz on UTV, which MzGee posted online.

Ola advises the actor to give up on that dream because it will never come true. In order to avoid being labeled as “haters,” he continued, “We’re going to support him, but we obviously know that he will lose.”

We’ll keep you updated as Lilwin responds to this criticism from a fellow filmmaker.
