A young police officer was dismissed yesterday after being caught with narcotic substances while wearing his full police uniform at the Achimota Old station.
The unidentified young officer, who appears frail in the video below, is seen admitting the crime and pleading for forgiveness as a crowd of angry youths gathers to question him.
The method by which he was apprehended has not yet been revealed, but it can be seen in the video below that the substance he allegedly deals in and uses was holding one of the guys who probably apprehended him.
His actions appear to be undermining the police force’s integrity after the new IGP warned the force to help curb the menace of Ghanaians not trusting their services.
