Police Officers Captured Protecting School Children During Their Clash With Protesters (Photos)

The Arise for Ghana demonstration got off to a good start yesterday morning. However, by the evening, misunderstandings between the Ghana Police Service and the protesters had resulted in a serious fight in which some police officers and protesters were injured.

At one point, the protesters began throwing stones at the police, who responded with tear gas.

The entire area became unsafe for civilians. Some schoolchildren appear to have taken the route where the police clashed with the protesters to their various homes.

Some police officers dedicated their lives to ensuring that these children arrived safely at their various homes.

According to the images in this article, the policemen strapped some schoolchildren to their backs and others carried the children.

Following the publication of these images, some Ghanaians stated that the police officers did an excellent job in protecting the children.

These kids have no idea what’s going on. It would have been tragic if they had been injured in the clash between the Ghana Police Service and the protesters.
