A troubling story that has reached us claims that the Ghanaian singer Kofi Mole was detained while performing at a senior high school in Ghana while he was being watched by police officers.
Students at Olam Senior High School were watching in surprise as the musician was taken away by police officers in the middle of his performance, according to a video that could be seen online.
A reporter who was present at the gathering where the incident took place claims that the arrest was carried out in a Rambo-style manner, and that students were instructed to return to their respective dorms thereafter.
In the video, one of the students can be heard saying that an inspector of police instructed the other students to leave the hall, and then the inspector of police escorted Kofi Mole out of the hall by the back door.
It is unknown why the musician was taken into custody, and no one from his camp has commented on the developing story as of yet.
