A young man has sparked internet debate after claiming to have known talented vocalist Jackeline Acheampong, better known as Gyakie, some years ago.
Gyakie was a junior high school classmate, according to a young guy who goes by the Twitter handle Shaba Charles.
Shaba Charles went on to say that he used to sit at the same desk as the Need Me, singer, back in the day.
Shaba_Charles’ post read: “I was on the same desk with Jackie when we dey JHS, was always beating the guys who were teasing me by her name and I want to tell Jackie today that it was the work of the devil. I was young and didn’t know what I was doing. Please come back to me.”
He claims that some of their classmates used to mock him by calling him Gyakie’s boyfriend, but he despised the title.

Many years later, the same Shaba Charles is pleading with the Forever hitmaker to forgive him and return to him, claiming that he was willing to accept her as his ‘girlfriend.’
He claimed he had previously rejected her because “It was the devil’s handiwork. I was inexperienced and had no idea what I was doing.”
Many netizens were forced to express their opinions as a result of this ‘confession,’ with some having a field day in the comment area.
