The death of two lovers who are reported to have committed suicide since their parents disallowed their marriage is making headlines.
According to further information, both lovers from Okija in Anambra State drank snipper after their parents refused to sanction their marriage proposal and shower their blessings on them due to the traditional Osu and Ohu caste systems.
The departed lovebirds left behind a heartbreaking letter that says,
We made up or minds to end it all because we can’t stay without each other.
