Darlington Kwesi Agyekum, often known as ‘D Cryme,’ has stated that he is frequently mistaken for a wealthy guy.
According to the Ghanaian musician, most people he has met believe he comes from a wealthy family with many chances at his disposal.
During an interview with Amansan Krakye, D Cryme stated that his physical appearance is usually the source of this opinion.
“I believe that the way I dress and present myself gives the impression that I am Dada Ba, but whenever they say so Amen, I accept it in good faith.”
“But I know that definitely, my parents worked hard to provide for me, and that’s the same way I’m also working hard to fight for what I want to do,” he stated on Property FM in Cape Coast.
“Some people were born rich with a silver spoon in their mouth, but I wasn’t born with a golden spoon in my mouth; my parents simply did their best for me,” D Cryme stated.
He went on to say that just because he doesn’t talk about his troubles doesn’t imply he doesn’t have any.
“And, while they did their best, I was careful not to bring any problems home because no parent is happy if their child is always in trouble.”
“But the fact that I’m walking around looking good may lead some people to believe that this gentleman has no problems, but I do have problems; I just don’t publicize them,” D Cryme remarked.
