People take this too serious; NSMQ quiz mistress reveals people have been threatening her life and family
Dr. Elsie Effah Kaufmann, the quiz mistress for the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ), which is held every year, has revealed that she has been receiving death threats.
According to Dr. Elsie Effah Kaufmann, the number of persons threatening to hurt her has increased dramatically, with no days going by without someone sending her a message.
During an interview with kessben TV, she disclosed that, in addition to insults on social media, some people went so far as to issue death threats against her and her family.
She went on to say that people and contestants should express their unhappiness while the competition is still going on, rather than waiting for the results to be announced before going home and making threats.
Prempeh College took first place in the recently concluded NSMQ, followed by Presec in second place, and Keta Senior High in third place.
