Despite media rumors to the contrary, Shatta Wale asserts that he is not involved in Medikal’s business affairs.
The Dancehall star alleges that certain media outlets have gone above and beyond to fabricate tales about his relationship with medikal. He claimed in a recent radio interview that people were more likely to criticize him whenever a problem arose because of the way he carried himself.
He even made light of the fact that if MDK were to divorce his wife, Fella Makafui (Mrs. Fella Frimpong), today, accusing fingers would be pointed in his direction.
“I look like a hawk, but I don’t catch chickens”- he said to Prince Tsegah.
“Although I don’t think it should, even if Medikal isn’t with his wife, they will claim that Shatta is to blame” – he added
He also discussed Medikal’s decision to fire his longtime manager, Flow Delly.
“I will say Medikal and Flow are brothers, and they are all doing good, but I cannot pinpoint where all this matter is coming from,” he pointed out.
He explained the new management option by saying that Medikal had a new team that would launch his career to international prominence.
“Maybe he [Medikal] has a team that he is trying to project his career, but he is letting people know that he has moved on. He and flow are cool. I know they spoke not long ago and Flow is my brother, and he knows I won’t vouch for anything like that…,” he said.
Finally, Shatta Wale was clear about the role he played in Medikal’s life when it came to having the final say regarding the latter’s decisions and plans.
“I don’t dictate for him. He is a whole big man, and he has said it in a way that people will understand that if you want business I have people who can do that… Medikal is a businessman, and he is not saying he has sacked Flow Delly and I know he is working with distributors outside Ghana, and he is okay .“
