Pearl Enyonam, a young lady who purchased 15 copies of Yvonne Nelson’s book reveals the reason why she bought them.

Yvonne Nelson, a popular Ghanaian actress, and filmmaker, recently held a book signing event for her autobiography, “I Am Not Yvonne Nelson.” The event was a huge success, with many Ghanaians showing up to meet the actress and get a copy of her book.

One highlight from the event was a young lady named Pearl Enyonam, who purchased an impressive 15 copies of the book. Pearl is a partner of a bookstore called Read2live Books, which aims to transform lives through written literature. In an interview, Pearl revealed that she went to pick up the books for her clients and has put some on the shelf for others who might want a copy.

When asked why she chose to make an impact by selling books, Pearl indicated that as a team, they realized some books are not always readily accessible when there are many benefits that books stand to give.

“I am a partner at Read2live Books. And we had some clients who had been asking for the book. So we decided to contact the team through the number added on their post to secure some copies for our clients. So I was there to pick up some copies for my clients,” she said.

She and her team believe in the power of written literature to change lives, which is why their motto is “Changing lives through books.”

“We sell books on self-help, business, finance, motivational books, Christian literature books, bibles, history books, biographies and memoirs. We also sell novels, children’s storybooks and activity books. We are at Achimota Christian Village and deliver nationwide,” she added.

It’s inspiring to see young people like Pearl using their passion for literature to make a positive impact on their communities.

“So that was the inspiration. And that informed our motto as well – changing lives through books”, she indicated.

By promoting the value of books and making them more accessible, they are helping to create a more literate and informed society. Congratulations to Pearl and the Read2live Books team for their dedication to transforming lives through written literature.
