Pastor gives certificates of virginity to young ladies in his church after passing a virginity test.
It appears that being a virgin pays and a South African church has rewarded its female members with certificates of virginity for maintaining their chastity.
The Nazareth Baptist Church in Ebuhleni is said to have conducted a free virginity test on unmarried ladies aged 18 and up who attend their church.
The test is thought to encourage women in society to refrain from premarital sexual activities.
According to reports, the test is an annual activity conducted by the church, and successful participants receive a Certificate of Virginity at the end of the exercise.
Every year, the ladies look forward to the event, and those who pass the test receive a white mark on their forehead.
Every year, the virginity test is held in the middle of the year. When the church conducts the next virginity test in the middle of next year, the certificate issued before will become invalid.
The church held the 2022/2023 exercise on Monday, July 4, and the successful ladies received certificates.
The certificate was signed by the Nazareth Baptist Church leader and the specialist who performed the test.
