Pastor defends himself for snatching a married woman from her husband
A pastor approved snatching a married woman from her husband when he (husband) screamed out.
According to a local Kenyan daily, David Makori said that Bishop Charles Maloba of Power Pentecost Church stole his wife, a member of the church choir, three months ago and is now staying with her at an undisclosed location in Kajiado.
Makori also stated that his attempts to reconnect with his wife, with whom he has a child, had been futile.
He revealed that his wife told him that they couldn’t be together again since she had already fallen in love with the man of God, who is also married to another lady.
The bereaved man told The Nairobian:
“I’m baffled as to how a married church bishop can grab someone’s wife.”
“It appears that the bishop was so taken with her performance in the choir that he sought a method to bring her closer to him.”
In response to her estranged husband’s claim, the lady accused him of not being serious about their marriage, which is why she entered into a sexual relationship with the man of God.
The woman named only as Esther went on to accuse Makori of refusing to make their marriage “formal,” despite the fact that they had been together for ten years.
Esther also stated;
“How can he be with me for nearly ten years and not bother to make our marriage legal?” “What’s the problem if I find someone who is sincere about me?”
Bishop Maloba, on the other hand, defended his actions by blaming them on genetics.
He said that his acts were predictable since, first, his father is polygamous, and second, he is from Kenya’s Luhya community.
Maloba stated;
“You know, I’m from Luhya area, and my father had six wives.” “If you’re aware, you’re aware.”
