One of the criminals who k!lled the soldiers on their way to their traditional wedding confesses
One of the gunmen who ruthlessly shot and killed an army couple, A.M Linus, a Master Warrant Officer, and his wife, at a location in Imo State, has confessed.
Remember that the victims were reportedly on their way to their traditional wedding when they were attacked and shot at by extremists.
According to the Daily Trust, one of the killers was overheard conversing with a friend of the dead female soldier on the phone.
The victims were killed, according to a male voice, as a result of attacks reportedly carried out by the Nigerian Army.
The caller was crying at one point, but the militant insulted her. Although news organizations are unable to independently authenticate the audio, the content is related to the occurrence that has sparked widespread condemnation and anger.
The outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and its armed wing, the Eastern Security Network (ESN), have been blamed for the attacks across the region. Security operatives have been identified as targets in the South East by IPOB and ESN.
