OMG!: Popular Pastor Arrested And Handcuffed For Scamming A Top Professor 200,000 Dollars (Video)
According to reports, the Ghana Police Service has arrested a popular pastor, evangelist Luther Afawuah, for defrauding a top Canadian professor. He was cuffed and led to the police station.
The Evangelist allegedly defrauded a professor out of $200,000, which was supposed to be used to build a full-fledged farm for him.
Speaking to Angel TV, the professor, who preferred to remain anonymous, explained that Evangelist Luther Afawuah mostly posted videos on social media of constructed fish ponds, live farm animals, and rice plantations.
He usually preached about the importance of farming. This is due to the fact that when he (Evangelist Luther Afawuah) enters his farm, everything is naturally produced.
His consistent posting drew the attention of a Canadian professor, who confided in him to build similarly mixed farms for him back home in Ghana. The professor sent a two-hundred-thousand-dollar investment.
A few months later, evangelist Luther Afawuah allegedly sent the professor some beautiful pictures and videos of green mixed farming.
As happy as the Professor became, he arranged for his children from Canada to visit his farm in Ghana. This is due to the fact that his children have never seen live birds or African fish before.
When Evangelist Afawuah arrived in Ghana with his nuclear family, he allegedly played hide and seek with him. It was later revealed that all of the videos and photos sent to the Professor were forgeries.
The matter was then reported to the Ghana Police Service, and the Evangelist was arrested, handcuffed, and taken to cells for further investigation.
