Obra show: Man gives a two-bedroom house ex-wife as compensation
After years of failed relationships, a Kumasi-based woman is smiling her way to her new home, which she obtained from her ex-husband.
Edward Asamoah, Yaa Sarfowaa’s then-husband of over 20 years, was gracious enough to hand away from her two-bedroom apartment.
Mr. Asamoah evicted Madam Sarfowaa and their six children due to irreconcilable conflicts, and he has failed to fulfill his childcare responsibilities.
The woman, on the other hand, felt betrayed, saying that her husband had neglected to compensate her for leaving the relationship.
Madam Sarfowaa, who lives in the Ashanti Region’s Asotwe, went on Nhyira FM’s Obra Show to demand alimony from her ex-husband.
She also requested a bedroom for accommodation
Mama Efe, the show’s host, and a panel of arbiters intervened and persuaded Mr. Asamoah, a mason, to build a two-bedroom house with a toilet and bath for his ex-wife in Asotwe.
On Monday, September 14, Mr. Asamoah presented Mrs. Sarfowaa with the keys to the house as compensation on the Obra Show.
Madam Sarfowaa proudly displayed the keys to her new home while thanking Mama Efe and the Obra Crew.
“Today is my happiest day, I thank you, and God bless you,” she remarked. When I got to Nhyira FM, nothing was taken from me.”
