“No matter how busy i am, i will never ignore the call of my mother”- Kinaata schools Sarkodie for not picking his mom’s calls
Sarkodie, who chatted with Sammy Flex on Zylofon FM’s mid-morning entertainment programme around three weeks ago, addressed certain issues made by his fellow musicians who are disappointed in him for not turning up when they need his assistance.
He told his coworkers whom he doesn’t return their calls to chill because he hasn’t even responded his mother’s call in months during this interview.
Following this disclosure, the multi-award-winning Ghanaian rapper received a barrage of criticism.
Kofi Kinaata has spoken out on the matter, stating that he will never treat his mother like a piece of rag simply because he has tasted fame.
In an interview with Kastle FM’s Amansan Krakye, he said:

As for the calls from my mum if the phone is close to me I’ll definitely answer the call any day at any time
But I will never intentionally refuse to answer my mum’s call because I’m famous or due to my busy schedules, she always comes first
