Nigerian men who caught world’s fastest fish and ate it with pepper soup cries out after knowing it was worth over $1,500

A group of young Nigerian men recently captured a sailfish while working at a marine workstation in Lagos State and promptly put it to use.

One of them, a Marine Engineer, tweeted images of the world’s quickest fish and announced that they will utilize it for pepper soup shortly.

”We don catch Pepper soup fish”, he wrote.

Hours later, he added; ”I no wan vex abeg but we don chop the fish with action bitters 🥺 ”Some dey freezer sha just Incase say una wan buy am or una get buyer wey go like make peppersoup too we ready to sale some”

However, it has been discovered that a frozen full-size Sailfish in the worldwide market costs $1,500. (approximately N623,000).
