A gay man from the US who was born in Nigeria has drawn a lot of attention online after jokingly posting photos from his wedding on Twitter.
Following the publication of his wedding images, artist and author Edafe Okporo has suddenly taken center stage on the microblogging site.
According to reports, Edafe only came to the United States to marry his boyfriend because same-sex unions are illegal in Nigeria.
He claims that his official, always-and-ever relationship with his white spouse is the fulfillment of a lifelong desire because, prior to being married on the weekend, he had dreamed of this day his entire life.
His wedding images’ comments area has been taken over by those who are against same-sex marriage and is being used to embarrass him.
These well-known detractors claim they are unable to comprehend the fact that he chose a man over the 4 billion or more available women in the world.
