On April 26, 1999, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II was enstooled as Asantehene, making Tuesday, April 26, 2022, exactly 23 years later. Otumfuo held a thanksgiving service at Kumasi’s St Cyprian’s Anglican Church to commemorate his anniversary.
The CEO of Adinkra Pie and his wife, Anita Sefa Boakye, were among the many prominent people who attended Otumfuo’s celebration.
The couple was in a lovey-dovey mood when they arrived at the church grounds. The husband and wife were seen kissing in a rare public display of affection in a video that has gone viral.
The two walked arm in arm, all smiles as they exchanged pleasantries with those around them.
In Anita Sefa Boakye’s outfit, noticeably, Anita deviated from the usual lovely kente outfits she wears for their public appearances.
Anita wore a simple white dress that resembled a maternity gown, while her husband wore white kente.
The video of Anita and Barima has elicited strong reactions from social media users. While it has put an end to rumors that their marriage was having problems, it has also started a new one. Many people believe Anita is pregnant after seeing the two together.
